Dad you have two great grand children both boys

Riley and Joel how you would have loved going to watch Riley play football for the under 7 he was captain yesterday 

Joel is not a year old but he is a character loves to dance to his favourite song

Was a part time fireman in his youth

Worked as a surgical instrument maker in ley Street

Then at Allen Ambridge Bethnal green and would bring home orange children's vitamin tablets

Before working at plessey Ilford

Then worked at claybury hospital as a porter before retiring 

Meet him when he was  17.

Married in 1949 at holy trinity barkingside

Lost him just before our gold wedding anniversary

How he would of loved and enjoyed little man 

Mum would take us to meet a lummer down Carlton drive which turned out to be dad riding his bike

He gave me a ride on his handbar only for my foot to get suck in the front wheel 

When l helped him garden in the front he put his fork straight though my shoe luckily it went between my toes

He just loved his family

Dad loved his girls and grandchildren

Dad loved his dogs and enjoyed meeting up with the other dog walkers in the woods.

Dad loved cricket and we spent many Sundays watching him play as children

He umpired matched with a broken leg 

Would watch sunday cricket on TV from 2pm until 6pm and wouldn't move from his chair

He would walk his granddaughter's boyfriend's around his greenhouse vetting them.

He went to Chelsea flower show and came home with the greenhouse
