Barry Randal Grissom, 42, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Granville County, the son of the late Herbert Wayne Grissom.   He was a graduate of J.F. Webb High School and Vance Granville Community College.  He was a member of Stovall Baptist Church and medically retired from the construction business.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Steve Brown and Rev. Eddie Mauldin.  Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.

Surviving is his mother, Jean Coley Grissom, a brother, Jeffrey Wayne Grissom, a special niece, Emily Grissom and a special nephew, Sterling Grissom, all of Oxford.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2012 prior to the funeral service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and other times at the home.
