I was waiting for a long train the other day, zoning out while counting the cars, when I saw "RIP Barry" on a car! I got goosebumps.
Found this little raccoon Harley guy- reminder of Barry.
Bear- I am glad you are safe and sound in God's loving embrace.
As we sit in our great room we reminisce Christmas past.
Barry loved Christmas and everyone that he loved knew that!

Remembering when...
At Christmas (in the late 70's) when Georgia and Howard were visiting at Mom and Dad's house in Roscoe, I locked the keys to Georgia and Howard's Mercedes in their car. Barry realized the trunk hadn't locked when the doors did and he thought there might be a way to get into the car from there. He found a tool that was to be used if the power sunroof wouldn't close. The tool was to manually close it from the trunk. Barry used the tool to open the closed sunroof and then Barry or I (I don't remember) were able to climb into the car to open the doors! Barry was a car genius even when he was only around 12 years old! He sure saved my butt from getting into even more trouble for locking the doors in the first place!!!
We know you are having an awesome and fun Barry style Christmas with Papa, Aunt Jeanetta, Aunt Janice, our Grandma's and Grandpa's and all of our other dearly passed family and friends...

It's times like tonight when I can't sleep- that I miss you Bro. I knew whatever time of night it was, even though you were in a later timezone, that it was OK to text you. And because of your crazy hours, you'd probably answer! I miss those late night texts!

We are home from work, cooking a special dinner for your birthday...soon we will be eating dessert and singing you Happy Birthday. We love and miss you very much Barry!
Birthday dinner over. Singing. Have 3 candles on key lime pie. One for Barry, One for Bookie and One for Mocha J. Barry shared his birthday with 2 of our pets. One a cat, Bookie, Dan had for 17 years, and Mocha J a rabbit we rescued in 2015.
Kathy and I are so grateful that Barry had such dear friends as you, Jim and Marion. Barry always spoke so highly of you guys, and would light up when talking about both of you. Barry truely cherished you and was so honored that you asked him to help with proof reading your book! Thanks again Jim and Marion...

This is Barry's neighbor/friend, Jim's fourth book, a memoir, "Real Cats Don’t Wear Collars.” Barry proofed it! This is a great and a fun book to read! We bought it through Amazon.com and I couldn't put it down! I stayed up until 1am the first night reading it and then finished it the next day. Kathy and I are going to read it together and also send a copy to a few people we know that will love it too! Jim, you are so very articulate in your writing! Thanks Jim for your talents.

Scott and I read everything on the site together, and it was so well done. Quite a few people are missing Barry, but none as much as Dan. Our hearts ache for Dan. Losing a brother is not something that you get over in time. It will always be in his heart, but the day will come when they will be together again.

Barry came to Idaho to visit Big Sis Kim, Brother-in-law Juan and Nephew Ryan. He came for Ryan's birthday and stayed til after Christmas. It was easy to pick a present for Barry - just go to the Harley store!
Lincoln Continental pic shared with Uncle Barry. Whenever we saw a cool car, an old car or anything with wheels that we thought Barry would like, we'd send a picture with a text.
I remember Barry giving me my 1st ride on his Harley. I was trying to hang on to the sissy bar, with my hands behind my back, trying to look studly on the back of a Harley with another guy (MY BROTHER) and not fall off as we flew down the road!!! Crazy times Brother Bear!!! Dan

Barry was always asking us to send awesome sunset pictures from Montana. He loved sunset pictures probably as much as moon pictures. This is one Barry, Kathy and I shared...
Barry and I were heading back from sister Kim's tree nursery by Rochester NY, back in the day. We stopped at a park with HUGE sand dunes so naturally we had to climb them! We hiked for what seemed like miles up and down over the huge dunes until...we finally reached Lake Michigan! Glad we kept at it, the picture of Bear was certainly worth it!
Barry created this "buggy" and it was ALL him! It was functional and crazy looking and he shared many wild stories exploring in it!!!

Barry would say this car was like driving a couch down the road but was Fast as hell! He said the back tires were usually bald because he couldn't keep his foot out of it...of course!!!
