Mr. O’Neal was born November 8, 1952 in Atlanta to the late Otis Daniel O’Neal, Jr. and Lois Mae Phillips O’Neal.

Before retirement, he owned his own trucking company, and enjoyed working with his nephews in the family business. He especially cherished family gatherings, and helped his friends and neighbors as much as he possibly could.

He loved the outdoors, with fishing, hunting, and bush-hogging the pasture among his favorite pastimes. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Roosterville. He was known for his wit and a caring heart, and will be missed by his family, friends, and community.

 

Survivors include: his wife, Elaine O’Neal of Franklin; sister, Trudie Snyder of Franklin; two nieces: Candice Snyder and Rhonda Spencer; three nephews: Ross Snyder, David Hull, and Billy Quick; his constant companion who he loved, Little Bit; and a number of other relatives and friends.
