Bart's Life

His passing in January 2019 saddened many as he was so loved by people who knew him. He was in the Armed Services, Military Branch of the Army.


He is survived by his relatives:

Brother: Victor Steret 

Cousin: Tori Masten

Nephew: Raymond Steret

He was a proud and civic minded resident of Humboldt County, CA.

  • He lived his life as a person people loved.
  • He was a Gold Miner and Gold Prospector
  • He supported Caltrans as a worker
  • He was a supporter of many causes to the community including:
  • Living with the Hoopa Tribe during a County wide re-organization
  • Proud of the Compassion Movement.
  • He was a housebuilder supporting projects with Habitat for Humanity in Humboldt County and Del Norte County.
