A native of Columbus, Mrs. Grant was the daughter of the late Willie and Hazel Butts Flowers.

She was a home-maker and member of New Testament Christian Center Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Grant; a grandson, Marquise Grant and a brother, Ronnie Flantroy, Sr.

Surviving are three daughters, Sharon Grant(Charles), Yolanda Grant(Reginald) and Felicia Grant; three sons, Bernard Flowers(Jeanette), Kerry Grant(Rozeria) and Marcus Grant; eighteen grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren; one uncle, Laron Butts; one nephew; three devoted friends, Hattie Ford, Willene Jackson and Sandra Hammonds; and a host of other relatives and friends.
