Mom,
Happy heavenly birthday. Everyday goes by with you being missed. Memories of a past life when you were only a phone call away or a short drive. Until we meet again know you are in my heart.

Happy Birthday Mom, I miss you every day. Today is a beautiful spring like day. I remember the "Spring is here" little poem you would sing to us, this makes me smile. I sing it to your newest great granddaughter, Leah. She loves it. You have beautiful lavender flowers on your resting spot. We also got Carl some very nice blue ones. Everyday I think of you, missing your wisdom and kindness.

Not a day goes by that we don't miss your smile. Not a day goes by we don't sit and think of you a while. We might not have known long ago how much you meant to us until we had to let go. Missing you everyday. But here is to a very Happy Birthday in Heaven. Love you Mom.

Holiday

January 22, 2018

Yet another set of Holidays have gone. This is the time of year when are loved ones are missed the most. I miss the carrot cake, all the pies we use to have, but mostly I miss the reunion of family members. Those that have passed on, and those whose lives are too busy to stop and visit. Without the root of the tree, it seems the leaves have fallen in all directions. Mom I hope I can be the matriarch that you were in my family, I hope that even after my death, my children will come together.

Aunt Ann

January 2, 2018

Holidays make us nostalgic.  Take us back to days gone.  Aunt Ann and Momma weigh heavy on my heart these days.  They set such a wonderful standard of what it means to be a mom, and how strong they remained during all of the rough patches in life.  I have big shoes to fill.  My children will grow up to know how wonderful their Aunt Ann and my Mom were... I miss you Aunt Ann.  I love you so very much ❤

Mom's help

December 18, 2012

My mom had six children, she cooked, cleaned, looked after us all. And can you imagine the projects and plays that she helped us all with. And with all that going on, she made time to  volunteer at the schools. I wonder sometimes when I am so tired, taking care of just one, how did she did it all with six.

I know my Mom was a Super Mom. And I was blessed everyday we had her in our lives.
