Tribute to Mamkhulu Babsi
A life well lived deserves celebration and appreciation.
Today I would like to celebrate my mamkhulu. The sweetest sweetheart I’ve ever known, lover of beauty and class yet humble at heart, an optimist, support system, prayer warrior, and many other attributes. A mother to all and wife to one. Siyabonga boNdlela for sharing her with us.
I look back and thank the Lord for affording us an opportunity to be loved the way ma loved us all, her siblings and cousins’ children as her own. I pray I was able to reciprocate her love.
She was one of a kind. She was kind hearted, generous, wanted only the best for us, fed us well. I will always think of her at Thanksgiving, with all the food that will have been leftover, she’d encourage us to ‘vaccum the fridge’ . Sikhuluphele sinjena asizenzi, uthando lwakhe.
I will forever miss our chats and prayers together. She would encourage prayer always especially when things were unclear. I got through a number of situations because of her. She was indeed an angel in her own right.
To the Ndlela family, Thank you for all your love and sacrifices towards her. May the Lord richly bless you. Babomkhulu siyabonga asiphezi for having been by her side always. We love you dearly Godide, Mpemba .
To extended family and friends, thank you for the love you showed to ma.
This week is a difficult week for us all but the family in California more as you are in the brunt of it all. We pray that the Lord will guide and that all arrangements will be run accordingly
We thank God for mamkhulu’s life, it blessed us all in more ways than one. May her soul Rest In Peace, she will forever be missed ❤️.
Her Love will forever be engraved in our hearts.
With love,
Zandile
