Meeting and knowing you Mum was a life transforming experience for me from the very moment the Lord brought you into my life through my darling wife, until He the Lord called you home. I am very grateful to the Lord for it.

You lived for the Lord Mum! I saw one of your amazing pictures of long ago, where you carried the cross of Christ with the Church in procession behind you, through the marketplace in London proclaiming Jesus Christ. My wife then told me that this was what you did every Easter, to celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. This is the legacy you left behind for us your children and by the grace of the living God, we will continue to walk in this same path, sharing the Gospel, in Jesus mighty and Everlasting Name, Amen.

“Maami” as I often called you, I will miss you dearly - Rev 21 verse 4 says: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…………”

You have lived a fulfilled life Mum and now you’re in a better place free of pain. Thank you mum for your selfless service to the Lord. The entire Oguntuase family - all my siblings - say a big thank you to you, for making a great impact in their lives. We will miss you dearly. Your legacy and kindness will not be forgotten.
Rest in the Lord Mum, Adieu, till we meet again.

A mother in Israel'
Loving, Compassionate, Benevolent, Understanding, Supportive, I can go on and on in describing who you are.. You devoted your life to the service of God and humanity, you were transparently selfless. Though you have gone to be with the Lord your impact in the lives of many would live forever . I keep hearing your voice and your words. Still very difficult to accept that we wouldn't get that message, that call from you anymore..Our comfort is knowing that you are in a better place. Adieu mummy keep resting in the Bossom of the Lord. We will forever Love and Miss you.

My dearest Mummy, I cannot believe you are gone. You were such a gentle, caring and God fearing mother. You were not just a mother to me, but a mother to many nations. The first time I met you over 30 years ago was when my late husband introduced me to you as my mother in law. You have been a great mother to me, even after the death of my husband. You stood by me like a rock. The children call you Big Mummy Bola and they cannot believe you have gone. We love you very much but God loves you more. You have gone to rest in the presence of the Lord. God knows you have fought your battle and wanted you to go and rest. We love and miss you dearly.

May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

A tribute to Grandma London

Grandma London was truly a beautiful, warm and pleasant soul. She was everybody’s mummy. Whenever our families went for holidays to the UK or for any other visit, she always made the effort to come and see us or at the very least call severally to be sure we were fine and not in need of anything. I was always touched by the fact that she would always make sure i did not leave without a gift. Her wisdom, impartial stance and commitment made a great impression to this day and she taught me so many life lessons by her acts of selflessness. We will miss the text messages we exchanged particularly on mothers’ day and birthdays. We believed and held on to God for her healing but alas it pleased God to call her home. Indeed Heaven has gained an angel.
Rest on Grandma London, Adieu Great Mother in Israel.

With love from
Bassey, Daniel, Ekaete and our families .

*My Tribute to Mum*

My elegant mum, God’s beautiful creation, displaying his perfection! I remember being very proud of you as I was growing up, showing off your pictures to my friends. You were beautiful in appearance to me that as a little girl, I was so naive like any other girl and focused on your outward appearance. As I grew older, however, I began to see that you were even much more beautiful on the inside! Wao! mum, you were very kind and generous to anyone and everyone that God brought across your path! This you instilled in me. You taught me great values: to care and to share, to be respectful, gentle, considerate and patient with others. You taught me that forgiveness is a virtue, to always let go of all hurt and give people a second chance.

You lived the Holy Scriptures to the best of your knowledge! People would often say to me “your mother is too kind to a fault because most people she’s kind to would never return the kindness”. Even when I tell you what people say, you’d always remind me to be a true Christian. You’d always stress that we don’t help people to expect anything in return from them, but only from the Lord. Even your childhood friends testified of your love and kindness when you were growing up and they confirmed that through the years until your passing, you never changed.

You would always say to me and your son, my husband, “ the God that you are serving, continue to worship him relentlessly.” You stood by us and encouraged us even when the future looked so bleak! You visited us and ate with us even when we had nothing! You wanted to watch God do wonders in our lives! Yes Mum! You witnessed it all!

You were a great beautiful mother indeed! Would not trade you for another! Thank you for everything you taught me and your son. We pray that you rest in perfect peace until that glorious day, when you shall rise first with all the other saints and meet with Christ in the air! We love you mum and will miss you dearly. We’ll continue to make you proud in Jesus’ Glorious and Precious name Amen.

The great girl has gone home to be with her Maker.

There aren't enough words to describe the rare gem called Mrs Benedicta Boladale Adenejolu.

She was a mother in Israel, the lady with the Midas touch, a home builder, a genuine friend, a peace broker, a shoulder wide enough to lean on, ready to sacrifice if need be, bold enough to tell the truth, no matter the circumstance.
She was a great cook especially with her trademark akara.

Mama Ayo was a fashion icon without unnecessary extravagance.
She was an epitome of kindness and literally "enlarged her tent " to accommodate others irrespective of tribe and tongue, especially children in need to the extent that her other children and grandchildren are more than her own biological children and grandchildren, put together.

Iya Ayo was all these and more.

I have known and related with this lady for over 20 years not just as an in-law but also as my Aburo. We had never had occasion nor cause to disagree for one minute even in dire times.

When the time for her home call drew near, true to type, she gave death a tough fight and defied all the experts' predictions and exceeded the terminal date. What more can we say except bid her a warm and final farewell.

Adieu Aburo. Take your well deserved rest in the bosom of the Lord. It is well.

You were a true gem who loved everyone both family and non-family alike. I remember ni olowogbowo just like yesterday when we were young girls and we had the vision to carry the family tradition to the next generation, this has always been your watch ward as you carry everyone along and your love for your fellow man can not be measured. As you have lived an exemplary life and shown your children the way of the lord I am sure the good Lord will watch over them and not let them deviate from the path you have set for them, this I am sure will be good news when you meet the creator. You will be truly missed, my sister.

I thank God for her life and I look forward to meeting her again when that day comes. I love you grandma, and i miss you with all my heart.

Grandma was one of a kind. She was a caring, lovable person to everyone she met. Grandma's fitness made her unique for someone of her age. Her ability to do many things aided to that as well. She had a special place within everyone. Her passing to glory has affected the many hearts of people who cared for her, who loved her, who cherished her. Most of us would have felt distraught. Others would have mourned. Some would have grieved. Nonetheless, all of us were delighted knowing she has ascended to a better place, a place that none of us could come close to imagine. She is having the opportunity to sit by the right hand side of The Father. An opportunity we all intend to take and achieve. Grandma, you will be missed, but our love for you will remain evident within our hearts until it is our time to come home. In Jesus's Name, Amen.

ADIEU MY DEAREST MAMA AYUS.
Let me begin by thanking God Almighty for
a life well spent. It's not easy for me to write this tribute because I'm yet to come into reality that you are gone. It's sad you are gone to a place of no return. Words can't begin to describe how much I'm going to miss you.
Mama Ayus you were the Bedrock of your
Families both immediate and extended. You
loved all your children, I could see it in the way you made sure you provided for them all in your own social way when they came to visit.
( ABIYAMO TOTO )
Mama Ayus was down to earth and very caring.
People were drawn to her by her warmth , She had left a gap to fill. She was agile , tough and most of all strong, determined DISCIPLINARIAN. Always Warm Welcoming, Kind , Humble , Loving and ever Reliable. She was a Virtuous Woman.
I , Abidemi, miss you in my Own personal ways for all the special intangible ways that you touched my heart- ways that can't be defined by words.

Mummy A......I bless God for the privilege of knowing you....for you were truly a mother in every sense of the word.
Thank you for all you did to prune Ayo and I; we are in no doubt that you were proud of the men we became.
It is HARD to accept the death of a loved one like you. We all wish we had the power to make death go away from the face of the earth forever and never return. We wish to live on earth without losing anyone dear to us.  But sadly, death is inevitable. Your death leaves a huge void in our hearts that only time can heal. We pray that your sweer soul will find peace and always watch over everyone of us you called family.

Mummy........Proverbs:31 personifies you:
"Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth no the bread of idleness.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed"

I pray your sleep will be sweet and peaceful for you surely ran your race well and undoubtedly finished your course.

The time, when and where it will happen still unknown. God is great.
I thank God for your life well spent.
All you came to this world to do was accomplished.
Thank God also for your total dedication towards God's work. It is not how long but how well.
