Ben, as he was known, served in the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant. He went on to work in various business ventures. Most recently Ben was a Social Worker helping others struggling with addiction.
Ben was pre-deceased by his parents Thomas Allen Bonnet and Celeste Nugent Bonnet of Lafayette, LA and brother Thomas Allen Bonnet, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Bonnet, his two children Charles and Melissa Bonnet and his stepdaughter Tara Alder, husband Jeff and their two children Alex and Evan.
The family will be holding a brief service at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort Alabama at 10AM Friday September 17, 2021. Visitors should arrive between 9:45 to 9:55 am.
