Legacy of Hard work and Love for God

January 18, 2022
My dear father exactly 3 years you left this world. I was to set up intravenous drip that day but you refused not knowing that will be your last day on earth. I thank God having you as a father. Up till now, cant control my emotion each time I watch your final burial but your legacy lives on. Legacy of hard work which is useful in the journey of life. You are my mentor and role model. You also taught me also love for God which is the ultimate in the journey of life. Rest in peace my dear father. Your legacy lives on.

Happy Posthumous Birthday to Rev. Gentleman (Alufa ti kin jale, ti kin paro)
Good people are remembered long after they are gone, but the wicked are soon forgotten.  Prov10:7
Thank God for the uncommon grace in the life our dad and the precious life he lived on this planet earth.
I missed him so much, always refer to him from time to time, even yesterday  when my husband was sharing one of his favourite jokes of ‘good good x7 and yah yah x7 - gudugudu meje, yaya mefa’ with one of the children.
May the almighty God Continue to fill any vacuum you left behind in our hearts IJN
May the husband of the widow continue to uphold our Mummy IJN
God is good and His mercies endures forever!

What an Irreparable Loss!

March 10, 2019

What an Irreparable loss your demise has caused! I came to know you in the early nineties. It was the early stage of my adult life, that formative period of life when I was building the personal principles that would ultimately become the pillars upon which my actions and character rest today. You contributed to building those principles. You helped in shaping them.

As an adult, aged as my biological father, it was very easy for you to humble yourself and come down to my level. You joked with me. We played "opon ayo" together. Even my friends were amazed by your humility and how you were able to easily mingle with younger minds. Due to familiarity that playing with younger ones can bring, we erred as kids will always do. Yet that did not stop you from sharing your time with Tope Akinsola and me.

Those moments you let us share with you were golden and will become evergreen in my memory. You will be missed a great deal!
