Bennie Dwight Gresham, 72, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at his home.

A native of Granville County, the son of the late Bennie Hill and Ola Margaret Roberts Gresham. He was a member of Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church and retired from the Oxford Police Department after twenty-five years of service.

Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church by Pastor Bruce Brooks.

Surviving is his wife of thirty-two years, Patricia Fiscus Gresham of the home, a son, Stephen Dwight Gresham of Henderson, a brother Douglas Gresham of Oxford, two sisters; Gail G. Matthews and Donna G. Jones both of Oxford and one granddaughter.

Visitation will follow the graveside service in the Fellowship Hall of Peace’s Chapel Baptist Church.
