Bernett Thompson Davis was born to the late James Earnest Thompson and Florence McKinnon Brown on February 28, 1954. Bernett was the youngest of five children.She was preceded in death by one sister Geraldine Thompson.

Bernett worked for over 35 years in the medical field has a CNA.She loved to be fashionable and had her own unique style.She loved music, even at the end she wanted her favorite hymns playing.She was a caring person and believed in helping others.She had a fun free spirit, she always spoke her mind, and she kept it real.Bernett was a faithful member of St. Matthew Baptist Church, she loved her pastor and her church family.Her grandchildren were her pride and joy.She will be deeply missed.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son Bobby Earl Thompson, Sr. (Davenport, Iowa), three sisters:Gussie Bell, Johnnie Gosha, Theresa Thompson (all Birmingham), and one brother Charles Earl Thompson (Davenport, Iowa), four grandchildren:Bobby E. Thompson Jr, Bobbie Jata Nicole Thompson (JT), JacQuess Everett, Daniel Everett, one great grandson Jamier Mayes, one very special friend Alvin Pickett, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
