Bernice Claire Schueth was born April 19, 1923 at Bancroft to Richard & Ella (Bruning) Stafford and attended District 15 School.  On May 23, 1944, Bernice married Ambrose Schueth at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point. The couple farmed south east of West Point where Bernice enjoyed being outdoors.   In 2009, Bernice moved to Lincoln.

Bernice was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Guild.

Survivors include sons; Larry (Cindy) of Lincoln, Ray (Trudy) of Edgerton, WI, grandchildren;  Jena (Chris) Wittwer, Jake (Ashley) Schueth, Nancy Schueth, Nick Schueth, Brad (Sam) Schueth, Eric  (Megan) Schueth, Kari (Jamie) Zavala, Katie (Keith) Haugen, great grandchildren; Luke, Charlotte, Oliver, and Hudson.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ambrose in 1968, son Daniel in 1969, daughter Caroline in 2011, and sisters Ruth Buerman and Evelyn Johnson.
