The daughter of the late Dock and Mattie Walton Fitzpatrick, Mrs. Starke was born in Midland, GA on April 1, 1924. She was a faithful member of the Greater Peace Baptist Church where she served with the Mission and Usher's Ministries. Mrs. Starke was retired from the Stewart Community Home (State of GA) and the Urban League. She was preceded in death by her husbands, the Rev. Moses Ford, Sr. and Mr. Willie C. Starke; two daughters, Emma Jones and Bernice O. Ford; and her eight siblings.
Survivors include: her sons, Musa Abdullah, Ezekiel Abdullah (Bouchre) and Samuel J. Ford, Sr. (Loretta); six daughters, Myrtice McCall, Martha Grafton, Evelyn A. Porch, Dr. Mozelle F. Bams, Teresa A. Ford and Glenda F. Young; thirty-two grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, eleven great great grandchildren; devoted niece and nephews, Rilla Wright, Clarence and Johnny Wright; a host of other loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
