Funeral service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home (2060 Germantown Street). Visitation to begin at 11:00am and service to follow at 12:00pm. Interment at Jeffersonview Cemetery.
Mr. Bert L. Herd, Jr., Age 74 A life-long resident of Dayton OH. He passed at Mary Scott Nursing Home with a lengthy illness. Born August 14, 1947 in Berea KY. His family moved to Dayton when he was a young boy.
He attended Roosevelt High School. He worked at Morgan Services for many years. He lived his life to the fullest. Good Times and Bad. Preceded in death by both parents Bert L. Herd, Sr. and Veradella J. Herd.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Steven Snowden, Brian Herd (Crystal), Milan and Thomas Daniels. 1 brother Timothy Herd, 3 sisters Vanessa Jones, Heresa Madison, Terryron (Terry) Williamson. A host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Friends and Family.
