She was born September 15, 1926 in Elmore County, Alabama to the late John Thomas Young, Sr. and Alberta Young.

Mrs. Billups was a faithful member of Great Bethel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Bertha Nell Billups, age 86 of 1130 J Street, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 at Russell Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Isadore Billups, Sr.; two sons, Isadore Billups, Jr., Nathaniel Billups; a brother and sister.

She leaves to cherish her memories; three daughters, Patricia Frazier (J.T.), Opelika, Alabama, Evon Billups, Rome, Georgia, Everlina Billups, Alexander City, Alabama; two sons,Ted L. Billups, Sr. (Ruth), Rome, Georgia, John R. Billups, Alexander City, Alabama; seven grandsons, Marcus Billups (Jaime) Alexander City, Alabama, Keith Frazier, Hampton, Georgia, Charles M  Williams (Keisha) Fayetteville, Georgia, Cory Williams (Alyssa) Rome, Georgia, Ted L. Billups, Jr. (Terrie) Dallas, Georgia, Barry Toler, Cleveland, Ohio, Nathan Billups, Atlanta, Georgia; three granddaughters, Lakeish Billups, Childersburg, Alabama, Bettina Billups, Alexander  City, Alabama, Melissa Harrison (Eric), Woodstock, Georgia, Patrina Billups, Atlanta, Georgia, Sheree Billups, a brother, John Thomas Young, Milwaukee, Wisconsin; a loving devoted niece, Valerie Mcintosh, Gwinette County, Georgia; great-granddaughters, nephews, cousins and many friends.
