Miss you mom I wish you were here to help me with my life.
“Babe” Bertha Hughes died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Franklinville, New Jersey at the age of 71.
Bertha is survived by her children, Ralph Reynolds, Mark Reynolds, Kenneth Wescoat, Candy Ann Heggan and 5 grandchildren. Siblings, Maryann Hutchinson, Thomas Hughes, Clara Riggs, Albert Hughes, Pearl Riggs. She is preceded in death by Father, William J. Hughes, Mother, Bertha Hughes and Brother William Hughes.
Bertha was born on December 16, 1944 in Camden, New Jersey to William and Bertha Hughes.
Bertha was a lover of animals. She was the former owner of Pine Barrens Kennel.
A Memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 PM, February 6 at Trinity Methodist Church in Clayton, New Jersey. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Bertha’s life.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The No Kill Animal Shelter in Lindenwold, New Jersey.
The family would like to thank the nurses a Vitas Hospice for their care.

Babe when you came to Franklinville to stay with your sister, I did not realize you would not be there for long. The little time we had together was the best time we had together. We laughed which was a good thing. I think of you every day and the fun we had when I picked you up and took you to the doctor. Lunches out with me and Robin. I was very impressed when you talked about Dwight Yoakum and you going to his concerts. I was married, you were single. You are in my heart, always in my prayers. Give your brother a kiss from me and tell your mom I still Love her. Rest in peace sweetie until we meet again.

Aunt Babe, What can I say? There are so many things I remember. I always looked forward to visiting you when you lived in Hammonton. You always had so many doggies. And you loved each and every one of them. When you moved into your townhouse in Atlantic City I thought how cool it was to have an Aunt that rubbed elbows with a celebrity. You and your Dwight Yoakum. I probably never would have known who he was if it wasn't for you. Rest easy, Aunt Babe. Give daddy, grandmom, grandpop, and even Ricci a kiss and a hug for me. Love you
