Wonderful Mother

March 23, 2016

My mom was a  wonderful person, the one to always lead you in the right direction and path.  Being the youngest of 7, I spent the most time at home with my parents, which was a blessing.  I have so many memories  going cruising with my mom when I got my license, we would get Dairy Queen and just drive around, dad would always wonder where we went for so long.  We would sneak off to Lafayette Square in Indianapolis, which was pretty far just to go shopping at the mall.  When I was little I begged to go see Benji at the drive in and she made sure dad took us. We walked to the Avon Theater in Lebanon to see my first Rated R movie (Endless Love), we both just cried. I have so many fond memories even later in life when my dad passed away in 2011, mom came to live with me and my husband.  I then became the one she relied on the most, it was just my time to return the love she gave me. Caring for my mom was not a job it was my purpose as a daughter.  I would never change anything except more time...Which we never have!  Now your with dad and karen and kelly , mom you have your eyesight, hearing, and perfect health which you always deserved. Thank you for being a great mother, I'll have to find my own way and purpose now but the path you showed me and the knowledge you instilled in me, I think I'll find it.   You will forever be in my heart!  Love Kristy
