This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Beryl Sidnea Isabell Taylor who was born on September 22, 1930 and passed away on July 13, 2009. We will remember her forever.  This is the story of a very brave Lady who we are proud to call our mother...  July 5th (Consulatant ) sorry i have to tell you that you have stomach cancer the only cure is to have your whole stomach removed... Stomach gone cancer gone was the exact words.. ( MaM) if this is the only option then it must be done.. Consultant i will book the operation ASAP : early sept mam underwent the operation and on her birthday she was discharged from hospital Sept 22...  3 weeks later received a telephone call the pathologist  result on your stomach showed you had no Cancer...  2 days later you need to come for a scan... 1 week later scan done... 6 months : we are very sorry at the beginning we took 2 biopsies 1 of your stomach and 1 of your Oesophagus THERE WAS A CLERICAL ERROR THE BIOPSIES WAS LABELLED WRONG...  Unfortunately you have cancer of the Oesophagus and  because you have no stomach we cant operate if we could ( YOU WOULD BE CURED. ).  MAM started chemo and radiotherapy, after an intensive course another scan was done.. The same day myself and mam listened to the words the Cancer is gone... The whole family was over the moon Mam could look to the furture again...  2 days later called back to the Hospital I sat with my mother when they told us both  (sorry we got it wrong  ) you have 6 months to live go home and take each day as it comes..  OUR MOTHER DIED BECAUSE OF A CLERICAL ERROR.....

My sister and I are allowing this story of our dear beloved mother to be told so that no one else will ever go through this again.. Dont always believe the DOCTOR, CONSULTANT, NURSE ECT, ECT ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION AND BY LETTING YOU READ THIS IT MAY SAVE SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE,  IT COULD BE YOURS.   PLEASE SUPPORT US WITH OUR CAUSE BY LIGHTING A CANDLE OR LEAVE A MESSAGE WE WANT THE  (NHS)  TO STOP PUTTING MONEY FIRST AND PUT PEOPLES LIVES FIRST AND FOREMOST....   OUR MOTHERS WISHES WAS FOR US TO TELL HER STORY AND TO HELP SAVE OTHERS FROM THE SAME FATE..  A YEAR TODAY SHE PASSED AWAY WITH HER FAMILY BY HER SIDE...
