Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm at Rhema Lighthouse Christian Center; 3271 Glenhelen road, Dayton, Ohio 45406. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Bessie J. Glenn was born in Decatur, Mississippi October 19, 1951.She professed her faith in Jesus Christ at an early age.
She was a devoted Christian Believer and a dedicated charter member of Greater Works Christian Center where she served as the Director of the Kitchen Ministry. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.She quietly departed this life Friday, October 19, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton.
Bessie J. Glenn was proceeded in death by her father, Otis Glenn, and her mother Clester Glenn, brother Walter L. Glenn, sisters Louvenia King, Ella Mae Thames and Credie Mae Robinson.
Bessie leaves to cherish fond memories, her daughter Paulette Glenn, sons Terry (Dana) Glenn, James L (Shawna) Glenn, Robert L (Vinesa) Glenn, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, brother Lester Hunt of Las Vegas, Nevada, sisters Sarah L Newson of Dayton, Ohio, Wilma Jean (Charles) Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as brothers and sisters of Chicago, Illinois, a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
