Bessie Mae “Delicious” Mitchell was born to the late William Lee and Maggie Ruth Mitchell on January 12, 1972.
She departed her life on August 22, 2013 at the West Georgia Medical Center.

She graduated from Hogansville High School in 1992. She was employed many years with Mike Elite Restaurant.

Preceded her in death: two sisters, Margine Mitchell and Margaret Brown; Uncles, Zector Mitchem, Oliver Mitchell; one aunt, Aurelia Vaughn.

She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Jennifer Spruill of Flint Michigan, Kathy Spruill of Atlanta, Georgia, Laxavier Jackson and Monica Jackson both of Hogansville, Georgia; four loving sisters, Elaine Crawford of LaGrange, Georgia, Willie Ruth Mitchell of Hogansville, Georgia, Rosa M. (Marty) Brown of Franklin, Georgia and Pauline (Larry) Reeves of Hogansville, Georgia; three aunts, Bertha K. Cameron of Hogansville, Georgia, Ida Ruth Lakes of Atlanta, Georgia, Aurelia Vaughn of Atlanta; one great uncle, Zector Dean of Saint Marks, Georgia; special friend, Mr. Nathaniel Evans; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
