VISITATION AND 

FUNERAL

 

Visitation for friends will be on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 6-8pm, but family can come earlier than that though. It will be at Fohn Funeral Home, in Cassville.

 

Funeral will be Saturday, November 19, 2011 at 10am. It will be at Fohn Funeral Home.

 

Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, Shell Knob, Missouri.

Bessie Purler

Bessie Faye Purler, age 68, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011, in her home.

She was born on April 16, 1943, in Essex, Missouri, the daughter of Eli and Ida (Fields) Payne, who preceded her death. Also preceding in her death were her three brothers, James, Freddie, and David Payne and three sisters, Mary Payne, Jewell Hinshaw, and Wilma Lee Rayburn.

Surviving are her partner, Lee Wilson; one son, Bobby Rayburn and his wife, Kim of Exeter, Missouri; four daughters, Carolyn Bowers and her husband, Rick of Exeter, Missouri, Sandra Mitchell of Cedar Hill, Missouri, Sissy Rayburn of Exeter, Missouri, and Sally Morris and her husband, Chuck of Exeter, Missouri; Fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Bessie grew up and received her education at Sikeston, Missouri, where she graduated high school. She then took CNA courses and later became a certified med tech (CMT). For several years she was employed at Rose Inn in Owensville, Missouri. In 1997, she moved from Owensville, to Exeter to make her home. Some of her favorites pastimes were quilting, sewing, crocheting, going to yard sales, fishing, and cooking, but her passion was taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
