Mrs. Ford was born in Brundidge, Alabama, Saturday, February 7, 1942, the daughter of the late Charles and Lois Adamson. She was blessed to serve the Lord as a teacher and director for over 37 years at the Shawmut First Baptist Daycare. Working at the daycare was not just a job, but a ministry for Mrs. Ford. She loved every one of the children and considered them her own. She is a member of the First Baptist Church of Lanett.

Mrs. Ford is survived by her husband of 53 years, Forrest L. Ford; daughter, Lori A. Ford; her sons Vincent W. Ford and Phillip L. Ford and his wife, Michelle and son, Garrison; her sister, Maryella Flynn and her husband, Frank; her brother-in-law, Larry D. Ford and several nieces and nephews.
