Bettie was born in Decaturville, Tn, on Sunday, August 28, 1932 to Jacob and Fannie Suzannah Hamm Dunkle.  Bettie passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family . She went to be with the Lord on Thursday , July 7 , 2022.

She was a member of the New Life Baptist Church in Henry. In her lifetime she worked at the Milan Arsenal as an Inspector , and as a CNA.  She volunteered her time as a girl scout leader, dare officer, first responder, Sunday School teacher, and mission trips to Mexico.  Her favorite hobbies were sewing, gardening, cooking, reading her bible, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bettie was a loving and affectionate mother, nana, and gan-gan . She served the Lord all her life.


She is survived by a son David Pratt of Humboldt, four daughters Glenda Cary of McKenzie, Angela Bowden of Milan, Linda Hollandsworth of Milan, and Annie (Ronnie) McFarland of Brentwood, eight grandchildren Jordan Pratt of TN, Cari Hudgens of McKenzie, Jon Eaton (Anna) of McKenzie, Jennifer Baxter of Owensboro, KY, John Pratt of Owensboro, KY, Candice Doyle (Jacob) of Lexington, Abbigale Carter of McEwen and Troy Carter of Milan and twenty great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Bryant, a son Michael Pratt, brothers John Henry Dunkle, Frank Dunkle, Jake Dunkle Jr. and Walter Dunkle and a sister Rose Dunkle.
