Betty “Bessie” Tillotson Keith, 77, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away at Brantwood Nursing Home in Oxford on Thursday, December 28, 2017. She has gone to be one of God’s angels.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Allgood and Essie Dunn Allgood. Bessie was a member of Enon Baptist Church and worked at IVAC for many years.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Steve Brown. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are a daughter, Geraldine Cash/Hardy and Sammy Hardy of Stem; son, Edwin Tillotson of Oxford; step-son, Alex Keith of Oxford; sisters, Aileen King of Kingbridge, VA, Jean Moss and Vivian Bragg both of Franklinton; grandchildren, Tiffany McCampbell, Daniel Tillotson, Justin Cash, Minna Henderson and Wallace Tillotson; and a best friend and sister in Christ, Ninez Lee. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Tillotosn, Sr., her second husband, R. A. Keith, Jr., and her son, Jack Tillotson, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor.
