Thank you Sachina for getting the obituary completed. I find myself weeping at every turn of my encounter with a picture or a piece of paper or coming home looking up at the window she would look out of. The moments creep up on me when I think about a word or remembering hearing the shuffling of the walker into the bathroom. Yet, I keep moving and shuffling in the direction of closure. Thank you Danni for constructing this site. It is a place for us to share love, light and the experience of Mama and keeping her present. I longed for her presence. What a gift from the Universe, Allah, Ancestors, Source who granted me a few months of anger, frustration, compassion, love, honesty, generosity and most of all love for the person who gave me life. I got to be with her in ways I never had an opportunity to be as a child or young girl, or adult with children and now grand children. I could see the importance of her not being in my life for me to become who I have become and the beauty of her offering to give me a glimpse of who we could have been for each other.
