Betty Elliott Hazelbower, 85, a resident of Granville County passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her home.
A native of St. Johnsberry Vermont, the daughter of the late Merle Clarence and Rosa May Harriman Elliott. She was of the Methodist faith and retired from the electronics business.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 17th, 2014 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by the Rev. Chris Aho. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Hernandez of Oxford, a son, Ron Williams of Virginia Beach, Virginia, four grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Hazelbower and a grandson, Samuel Vazquez Jr.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
