Mrs. Groce was born in Thomaston, Georgia on January 15, 1935, the daughter of the late George Thomas Bartlett and Willie Emma Railey Bartlett. She was a Christian by faith. Until her retirement she was a faithful employee of the Kaydon Filtration Company where she worked on the assembly line. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved doing for her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by two daughters, Annette Coleman (Albert) of Franklin, GA., and Myra Escamilla of Giddings, TX.; two sons, Michael Parker (Marie) of Sneed, FL., and Buck Parker (Rachael) of LaGrange, GA.; one sister, Peggy Hudgins of LaGrange, GA.; one brother, Junior Bartlett of Kingston, GA; twelve grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Groce; and son, J. T. Jackson.
