Mrs. Gordon was born on Thursday, November 18, 1937, in Chambers County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Arthur Wright and Myrtia Wright. Mrs. Gordon is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Mather “Billy” Gordon and her daughter Sharon Elaine Weathers.

Survivors include sons Marshall Gordon , of Jackson, Mississippi and Jeffrey Gordon, of Magnolia, Mississippi and daughter Patsy Elliot of Valley, Alabama ; 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers Arthur Wright Jr and Charles H. Wright.
