Our Loving Mother

Our Loving Mother, "Mama" Ms. Betty Lou, MaMa, Mom, Cutie Pie was a humble, soft spoken, caring, kind, beautiful soul with a gentle spirit. She called all her family and many friends each day checking on us asking "what are you doing? what did you eat today? how are you feeling today? And we asked how she was doing her response was always "pretty good, Thank the Lord", even when her health was failing. We all miss those daily phone calls when she lost her ability to speak. She was a faithful watcher of "Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, later adding Family Feud to the list. She only watched basketball only if the Lakers played and tennis only if Venus and Serena Williams were playing.
The memories of our Mama will forever live in our hearts and her spirit will be with us always. She was a strong woman, a trooper, never said an unkind word about anyone, a great listener, a woman of prayer, loved God, her favorite bible book in the bible was Psalms. She never complained about anything, never got upset. Even during her radiation/chemo treatments not a word.
Our Mom touched many hearts on this side and will never be forgotten by her children, family and friends. Her daughter Betty renamed Burger King to Betty Lou King because she loved herself a #1 combo with cheese and a coke and had an entourage of family and friends that would pick up and deliver to her.
