Bevely Ann Brown Cox, age 65, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2019 while holding the hands of her daughters.  She grew up in Birmingham and has lived the last 33 years in Sterrett, Alabama in a home she loved and shared with her cats.  Her strong faith was supported by her involvement in Redemption Church in Chelsea, Alabama.  She has worked with children as a teacher's aide and daycare teacher in recent years touching the lives of her coworkers and students.  She will be greatly missed.  She is survived by her father Steve Brown (Kathie), sister Cindy Brown Merritt, daughters Kim Cox and Keri Cox-McIntire (Jeremy), sons Perry Cox (Amy) and Chad Cox (Courtney).  She had eleven grandchildren, Emily Cox-Oldham, Kali McIntire, Jena McIntire, Samuel Gorman, Bria Cox, Camryn Cox, Perry Cox IV, Brinley Cox, Westin Cox, Ashton Cox, and Brooklyn Cox.  She is preceded in death by her mother Toby Tidwell Brown.  At her request, a small service will be conducted with just her children at her home.  May she worship with us from above as we celebrate her love and her life.

Professional services provided by W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory, Birmingham, Alabama.
