Summer vacations were special when I visited Beverly, Aunt Ethel and Uncle Doug. Beverly and I played and helped on the farm. We rode in the back of the truck when Uncle Doug took milk to the creamery. Aunt Ethel would take us to New Brunswick for "back to school" shopping. I recall a trip to visit relatives in Canada.

I stayed with Beverly when she visited her grandparents in High Bridge. Grandma Longley liked to drive. She took us to New York City, the Jersey Shore and Easton shopping.

Although we were busy with our families and careers we stayed in touch. Fond memories linger. She will be missed.

Beverly was my second mom. Always kind and caring. She loved the people she worked with and always had a smile. I will miss her.
