I'm missing you so much Mom, and thinking of you on your birthday. We'll all toast you with a glass of wine at cocktail hour tonight. I know you and Dad are up there together celebrating your birthday and your wonderful lives together. We all miss you both.

What a beautiful Sydow tribute today! Thank you for including the Sheals, we were honored to be there to celebrate Mrs. Sydow. There is so much to say, that she was elegant, beautiful, intelligent, artistic......What I appreciated most though was her sense-of-humor.I remember sitting around the Sydow table laughing so hard at her comments, tears welling in my eyes..different tears today.

I miss my mom so much. She is the most amazing woman I have ever known. She was beautiful.  And Funny. And incredibly smart. And kind. And loving. And just so amazing. Thanks to all of you who attended her service yesterday. It was an honor to see you all there.

Sue, what a lovely tribute to your mom. She was so beautiful! That beauty lives in her children and grandchildren. Celebrate her life by talking about her, sharing the stories and things you did together. While this hurt is fresh, it will ease. What a blessing God gave her to each of you. Love each other, take care of each other. I'm there if you need me. God's peace!

I will never forget how much my dear friend, Beth, admired the love her parents felt for each other. On so many occasions she showed me photographs of her beautiful mother as a young woman and told me of how she inspired her children. I also remember how much fun she was! We had some great bridal showers and Christmas eves!!
