Wiesner, Bill J. 82, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017. He was born June 20, 1935 in Hays, Kansas. Bill graduated Cathedral High School in 1953 and went on to serve in the United States Army. He returned home and graduated from Wichita University in 1959.

 

He was a member of the Knight's of Columbus and an active in the yearly Sister's of St. Joseph's golf tournament. Bill served his community as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and The Lord's Diner.

 

He was with the Coleman Company for 31 years.

 

He is survived by his wife; Dorris. Sons; Steve (Lynn) Wiesner and David Wiesner. Grandchildren; Kevin (Jenny), Mark and Billy Jack and Great grandson; Owen. Brother; Don (Peg) Wiesner. Bill is also survived by his step children; Ashley (Jim Palmer) Baehr and Justin (Kirsten) Baehr. Step-grandchildren; Aidan, Sophie and Wyatt.

 

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7th followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th both a St. Thomas of Aquinas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Home Health Hospice of Kansas 7606 E. Harry Wichita, Kansas 67207.

 

 Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
