Sorry it's been a couple months. Catching you up with January and Feb activities. January flew by, my birthday was special, the girls treated me to a wonderful french restaurant, reminidng me of the trip with the girls to Paris. So wish you could have been with us. AJ drew me a beautiful orchid painting. LJ took care of the dinner details.
LJ returned to college, and AJ returned to school as well. We would have liked to go skiing but with covid still hesitant to go out to venture anywhere much.
February was a bear with the weather...snowed a lot! AJ busy with school, volunteering and believe it or not doing sports at school and outside of school..slowly things are opening up but of course still vigilant with the protective gear. LJ busy with college and her studies and doing her best to manage remotely with her studies and at the same time balancing the college life. i could not be more proud of the girls and how they are handling the pandemic which has been alomst a year. Chinese new year was quiet, year of the ox. Many people getting the vaccine now and a relief, hopefully light at the end of the tunnel . I miss you and love you hon, not a day goes by that i think of you. xoxoxo mama jon
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....always hard this time of year during holidays without you. We have many wonderful memories.
To say the least it has been eventful year, where it was a year of adjustment for all. Having to learn to live with the restrictions of the covid epidemic, celebrating LJ's accomplishment graduating HS and moving on to her next chapter of college life , anabelle growing up to be a young lady and almost halfway through HS, learning how to go to school hybrid model and getting a taste of college admission tests!
LJ turned 18! Can't believe how the time passed and wish I could turn back time. A young intelligent, independent lady.
We celebrated in non-traditional ways for the xmas and new year's holiday but made due and still "congregated remotely". We say good bye to 2020 and look to hope and light at the end of the tunnel in 2021!
We love and miss you always...xoxoxo mama jon
Catching you up on November events! So behind...Thanksgiving holidays different this year, not our typical Thanksgiving due to COVID.
Everyone celebrated seprately but we continued making our traditional Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings, Turkey, mashed potatoes, brussel sprouts, and Anabelle's mini pie desserts!
The Steelers doing great! So far undefeated! LJ made it through her first semester. So proud of how she is handling college life despite what is going on in the world right now. She is back home and safe.
AJ busy with school and continues to do the hybrid model. Despite sports being cancelled and postponed for the year, we still signed her up for club volleyball!
As for me, okay and steady. Wishing it was warmer to do outdoor things, hopefully it will be a mild winter, so we can do some skiing in December.
Love you hon and miss you lots expecially as we head into all the holiday season...xoxoxo mama jon
Hi hon,
Fall is here...leaves beginning to change..i love this time of year and reminds me of the times we went hiking at Minnewaska and apple/pumpkin picking. We were fortunate enough this year to go. We got loads of fresh picked apples and AJ drew on the pumpkin. She is quite the artist :) like you. LJ headed back to school. She really loves the town and school and has made new friends and settling in. AJ started up club volleyball again and a limited engagement of the intramural sports at the school. She is very happy to be able to do sports again of course with the restrictions of new health guidlelines in place. Love you to the moon and back, xoxoxo mama jon
Hi hon,
September went and gone...AJ starting 10th grade hybrid program and LJ home from college due to covid. Cant believe how much our world has changed and managing it one day at a time. We really miss you and as always wish you were here with us. We sen you our love ...xoxoxo mama jon
Dear hon,
Defintiely a busy month...we made our road trip to UNC and took our baby to start college. So excited for her as she embarks a new milestone in her life.
We packed the car to the gills and got there safely. UNC is a beautiful campus and is a right fit for LJ. Go Tar Heels! Anabelle starts school next month. As for me, busy at work and gearing up for the school year. Summer is almost over :( Miss you hon, love you so much! xoxoxo mama jon
Hi hon,
July was a busy month, getting Laura ready for college mostly, busy with orientations, and getting dorm stuff together for LJ. Still dealing with the pandemic. Life is so different as we know it...It truly has been a big change in how we live day in and day out. love you hon, wish you were here, xoxoxo, mama jon
Hi hon,
Truly a difficult month as covid-19 still a force to be reckoned with and throwing a curve ball in all our lives. Way of life has changed in the last 4 months, how we work, buy food, socialize. No family vacations, still too risky. However, we still manage to wake up each day and continue to keep all those we love safe and sound.
We visited you Father's Day and wished you were still here with us. We miss you so much. Anabelle and Laura finished school in the middle of the month.
Laura graduated High School, not your standard graduation ceremony but the school did a fine job to try to make it special and memorable. All the god families came to cheer Laura on. We are proud parents...she graduated in the top 5% of her class and was acknowledged by the school for her achievements. She will be headed to college next month and eager to start. You would also be
I know you will continue to watch over her as she starts her next chapter in life. Love you hon..xoxoxo mama jon
Happy 20th anniversary my dearest Bill...the love of my life.
It would have been 20 years today that we walked down the aisle and became husband and wife and started our beautiful life together. your legacy lives in all of us, me, laura and anabelle and those who know and love you.
You are forever engrained in our heart and soul. I love you with all my heart and know you are always in my thoughts. Happy anniversary, all my love xoxoxo mama jon
A couple days ago , was a day that our world was turned upside down...it was a day i never would have thought would have happen until we were old and lived a long retired, and active and happy life on the sunny beach shores of San Diego. I miss you each day but no that you will watch over all of us during these difficult and challenging times. know that we think of you each day and wish you were here with us...love you to the moon and back....xoxoxo mama jon
Thinking of you today and belated remembrance of your birthday. I know you would have faced the current difficult times as you lived your life, with determination, courage, compassion, and led always by your love for your family and friends. We look to your example for the strength to get through this. Please continue to watch over An, Laura, Anabelle, and us all. We miss you.
Love,
Eric, Mom, Dad
Was just thinking not too long ago about all the tech "business" we got into back from ARC times.
Rest in power...
Happy birthday! Each and every day I think of you and wishing you were here to see the girls grow up. It's a new world now, challenging times coming our way. Times like this I really wish you were here to comfort me and make light of it and put a spin on it that this is nothing and make the best of any situation.
Love you and miss you, xoxoxo mama jon
Love,
Jim, Anne, Brandon, and Justin
If this is you leaving me a message.....I hear/see you loud and clear!
Thanks for always looking over us and knowing that you are always on our minds/heart.
I shall speak with Egg and get things going.
Thank you for leaving the light on for us.
A candle icon for a special milestone this weekend. I wish you were here to celebrate with me. You are always in my thoughts and heart. I love to the moon and back...xoxoxo mama jon
Happy New Year, a start of a new decade, looking forward to what new adventure that lies ahead. Making the most out of each day and living life. It's not easy with the little curves and bumps along the road but we get through it with good friends and family and of course you watching over us. We try to keep positive and remember our blessings each day for what we have. As we know things can change in a snap of a finger.
December, LJ turned 17 and is a full fledge driver where she is an independent driver. You would be proud that our 1st born 17 years ago we held in our arms, having to feed her and change her and now a young lady where she can do most for herself. Before I know it she will be off to college and putting all she has learned to good use as she ventures into college life. You would be so proud, as I am that LJ has received acceptance letters to colleges.
We witnessed BJ graudating from college and we were so proud of him. We paid hommage to you by taking a photo of him clicking his heels in mid air! It reminded of the pic that we took at our wedding...You have made such an impact in everyone's lives we always talk about if you were still here, what would you do or say in this situation...
Xmas was at our house and we had a blast with our usual games and tons of food! Again wishing you were here for it... really miss you during this season.
AJ pluging along hard at practice and a busy social butterfly...All the girls doing well in school.
We love you hon and keeping your memeoy alive in our hearts each and everyday...hugs and kisses...xoxoxo mama jon
A little behind on activities with the family....November was a month full of firsts and events. I wsh you were here to physically to witness but I know in spirit you were here.
LJ has a junior license and started driving to work herself. She is becoming quite the indepenedent one. Last of finanical college stuff application completed and now just the waiting part. LJ training and learning skills. AJ training hard and started volunteering at her old elementary school.
Thanksgiving party we hosted and was fun! Introduced new game with the family..saran wrap ball game and was a hit! A new annual tradition that we will start. We went on our annual outing to get our fresh xmas tree with our family of friends, a beautiful blue sunny day for it. Then we were off to PA with Nicky over the break to watch a college volleyball game was amzing to watch in person and the enthusiasm of the crowd was great to experience.
That's November in a nutshell, we love you hon and miss you like no tomorrow....Happy Thanksgiving, xoxoxo mama jon
First off, happy fall! As always love and miss you...
Oct. was another busy month...Girls busy with pep rally and homecoming activities at the school, LJ and AJ introduced as part of the VB Varsity team and AJ performed at halftime at homecoming game. did our annual garage sale and all our friends joined to help raise $'s for EP's summer dance program. It was a fun day!
LJ submitted college apps and now we just wait for decisions...fingers crossed. You would be proud of her just as I am of what she has accomplished and ambition to flourish in the future. As for AJ, still acclimating to high school nicely and doing well in school.
Halloween was not without the festivities of girls dressing up in costume for parties and trick or treating..
That's it for October...love you and miss you to the moon and back!

Months seem to pass more quickly now that the girls are back in school. September was a busy month for us.
Laura is actively getting her applications done for college early (of course with the help of kai ye and kai mas and good friends!), playing for the school varity volleyball team.I can't believe our little girls is now a senior and soon will be spreading her wings.
Anabelle is also busy practicing and fundraising with her kickline team. i can't believe she is now a freshman in high school. They are both starting off in school exceptionally well. We would be proud parents.
As for me, busy with work, house stuff, and garden. You would be proud, finally sitting outside in our backyard and enjoying the last of the warm summer days.
Now we are going into fall season...soon it will be thanksgiving and christmas. All going too fast! We love and miss you so much.hugs and kisses always.
xoxoxo mama jon
August quite the month..to Laura getting her jr. license and getting the good news she made it to the Varsity vb team, anabelle starting her practice for the upcoming season of kickline, and the simmer 2019 season coming to a close end right before school starts next week.
Soon anabelle and laura will be together in same high school.Laura will be busy applying to colleges soon and could not be more prouder of her. It's hard but she is determined to get it done. Our little girls are growing up for sure. we are embarking a poignant year wit our girls. We miss you and lover you with all our hearts.
xoxoxo mama jon
Catching you up on our July events! Can't believe how quickly the summer is moving along...Anabelle enjoying her summer with friends and Laura busy working in the city and getting a taste of commuting and working in the city.
We had a nice vacation, just the girls and I in Europe and saw and walked a lot . couldn't have asked for better weather and the food and sites were excellent. We know you were with us to guide and protect us on our adventure as we made it back and forth safely. We love and miss you always, all my love..xoxoxo mama jon
Sorry a little late with catching you up on June events!
June was a busy month for us all! AJ graduating from Midddle School and onto HS in Sept. She is a smart cookie and proud of her. We went to see JJ graduate from HS and it was a beautiful graduation, we are proud of JJ as well and was so happy to be a part of his special day.
Your little girl turned 14 and she is growing up to be quite a young lady. A far cry from the little baby we cradled in our arms 14 years ago.
LJ finshing her 11th grade with flying colors, also very proud of her. She is very determined and has a busy summer ahead of her as we start setting our eyes on colleges and universities. So quickly how time has flown...I know you would be proud of our girls and know you are with us. We love you and as always miss and love you so much each passing day.
xoxoxo mama jon
Happy belated 19th anniversary...our wedding day was one of the most memorable and happiest day of my life. I married my best friend and soul mate. I could not wait to start our life together as husband and wife.
You were everything I needed and so blessed I had the chance to be with you for the time wife had. So many times I dreamed of what we would do together when we retired as I know we would be up and around and not just sitting around letting life pass us by. If anything you've taught me is to live life to its fullest and take chances and venture out. I left you red roses on our anniversary, a symbol of my undying love for you today and always.
As always a sign from you that you knew I was there visiting with you as a gentle breeze swept by. love you with all my heart...xoxoxo mama jon
First and foremost, we love and miss you...catching you up with the april activities!
Now that it's spring...it's getting warmer, some days rainy, some days windy..somehow I have a feeling you are behind those elements!
Tried to restart and prepare the garden for the upcoming summer season...Always remember you telling me the garden was my responsibility since I enjoyed it so much and it was my zen thing to do. Also mowed the lawn for the first time this season...trying to keep the grass green, trim and weed free as you did. Can't wait for the warmer weather to arrive and be outdoors as you also enjoyed to do as well. I still hear your song month to month, even 5 years later, the radio stations play your song which confirms my belief there are no coincidences and that it is a true reminder of you and letting us know that you are with us each day.
Happy belated Easter and I remember all the special things we did for the girls when they were little for the holiday. Love you Bill with all my heart.

Leave a Tribute
An is doing a great job with your girls.
Bill is famous!
Keith was super excited to see him and Bill on this massive banner in front of many restaurants in Tampa when we were at the 2011 National World Championship. Bill immediately got word of this banner. I swear Bill has some kind of super power to know about these things. He emailed me to try and get him a copy. I was thinking "how does Bill know? He's not in Tampa!" Unfortunately, I couldn't get one because these posters/banners were a hot commodity.
LIfe is an Adventure
Anabelle is right, Bill's life is an adventure! Bill's energy and love for the outdoors has influenced all of us, family and friends. We are happy and thankful Bill became part of our family, and grateful for the quality family time we got to spend visiting NY.
Andie and Edge will forever treasure the Harry Potter robes you gave them. Thanks too for the priceless memories- the 24-hour train ride from NY to Orlando, watching the Knicks, Mets and gorging big BBQ ribs. Thanks for lending your jacket, the REI stuff, the bike shirt, among so many other things I am thankful for. Thanks for showing your Incredible Hulk collection and also for your advice on where to hide in case of a zombie apocalypse :)
An, Laura, and Anabelle- Stay strong, am sure Bill’s strength and sense of adventure are kept alive in you all. The best way to honor Bill and celebrate his life is to make sure all our lives are adventures too!
