Bay St. Louis – Bill Williams, 69, of Bay St. Louis died Sunday, Oct. 29, 1989, in Biloxi.

Mr. Williams, a native of Williamson, W. VA., was a retired Blue Streak Machinist.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in World War II.  He was a member of the International Blue Streak Machinist Union in New Orleans, the Barbering Union in New Orleans and the American Legion, Post No. 77 in Waveland.

He also was a member of the faculty of the Vocational Division of the University of New Orleans.  He was the owner of numerous barbershops in New Orleans and was a Protestant.

Survivors include five sons, Charles R. Williams of Louisville, KY., Samuel G. Williams of Metairie, LA., William Williams of the NeCaise Crossing Community, Paul D. Williams of Aiken, SC, and Thomas L. Williams of Bay St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Alvin (Patricia) Witt and Mrs. Denny (Sandra) Badgett, both of Louisville, KY.; 18 Grandchildren; 13 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Step Grandchildren.

Visitation will be held today from 3 to 10 at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.  Services will be at 11 am Wednesday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery.
