I grieve not only for my mother but for the way that she died. She was 83 years old and she had taken my dad to the doctor and was driving home. Somehow she got lost and she her car gfot stuck in a ditch. The car was at an angle where she couldn't open the drivers door and had to crawl over to get out on the passenger's side. This was difficult for her because she had replacements in both knees. She had her cell phone in her purse. I don't know why she didn't call for help. She died trying to get out of the car. She was missing for over twenty four hours. I feel so guilty about not driving my dad to the doctor myself. I know she suffered and that she was scared and alone. She was the kindest person and the most wonderful mother. I wish we had taken better care of her.
