Billie Frances Washington Garner , 92, a longtime resident of Durham passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.
A native of Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Thomas Hubert and Mary Magdelene Veasey Washington. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, lived at Croasdaile Village for many years and faithfully attended Few Chapel in the Croasdaile community.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, April 1, 2013 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Jimmy Weaver. Burial will be in Carolina Memorial Gardens in Creedmoor.
Surviving are a son, William “Bill” B. Garner III and wife Ila Rose Garner of Bahama and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hock Family Pavilion, 4023 N. Roxboro Road, Durham, NC 27704. or to Bethany United Methodist Church, 2809 Guess Road, Durham, NC 27705.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2013 from 12:30-1:45PM prior to the funeral service at the Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor is assisting the Garner family.
