I had only met Bill a few times, but his selfless character was quite obvious. I lived with his daughter Claire my sophomore year of college, and upon him helping me move all my things into the apartment I realized I did not have a bed frame for my mattress/box spring. He said he was more than willing to pick one up for me when he took Claire to get some last minute furniture, and only a few hours later he had delivered. I had asked to pay him, but he insisted it wasn’t much money and to not worry about it. I still have that basic metal bed frame thanks to him. I give all my love to the family and I am proud to say I saw some of the givingqualities you all knew him for.
