He absolutely loved his family and adored his Nephew, Max.
How terrible it was when he got caught up in pain killers, after a cycle accident left him hurting. Such devastation, to loose a child in this manner. It's heart breaking. He was too young to die. There are too many parents still trying to cope with their loses because of this terrible thing, called addiction.
I know my Son is in a better place because I have faith in God. Eventually,
we will all be reunited and that is my consolation.
God bless my Son and forever keep him safe.
AMEN.

One of Billy's friends, a Vietnam vet, had a young child and the boy's birthday was near. The child wanted a bike so bad. The Veteran and his wife couldn't afford to buy one. Billy went and bought their child a real nice bike and put extra trimmings on the bike to make it special. He showed it to me and said that it was like a bike he had as a kid and always enjoyed riding.
He was always good hearted.
