Billy Earl Wilkins, 82, longtime resident of Stem passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

He was born April 26, 1937 in Granville County to the late Helon Primrose Wilkins, Sr. and Hettie Cash Wilkins.  He was of the Baptist faith and was a Water Treatment Operator for many years.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Monday, July 8, 2019 in the Wilkins Family Cemetery, Tump Wilkins Rd., Stem, NC by Rev. Eddie Nutt.  

Surviving are a sister, Becky Wilkins Boyd (Harold) of Oxford; four brothers, Roy Wilkins (Louise) of Roanoke Rapids, Jackie Wilkins (Mary) of Durham, Donald Wilkins of Butner, Dwight Wilkins (Carolyn) of Oxford and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by brothers, H.P. Wilkins, Jr, Tommy Wilkins and sisters, Dorothy Moss and Patsy Boone.

Visitation will be held prior to the Graveside service from 10:00 – 11:30 AM Monday, July 8, 2019 at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
