"James" as his family and friends called him was born October 4,1958 to Billy Earl Bullock and Norma Dean Sanders in Abilene, Texas. He attended Abilene and Coleman Schools. After school, he worked as a Derrick hand in the oil industry. He also worked for Martin Brick Company and Stemple Manufacturing in Coleman, TX.  He loved to cook, fish at Hords Creek Lake,  watch football with his brother Thomas,  and spend time with his family and friends. James was a quiet man who loved his Lord and family dearly. 

James is preceded in death by his father, Billy Earl Bullock,  step-father, Eddie Wayne Hector, and his grandparents. 

James is survived by his mother, Norma Newsome, 1 Sister, Earlene Zickefoose, 1 Brother, Thomas Bullock all of Abilene, TX.  He is also survived by his son, B.J. Bullock and his wife Lottie of Coleman, TX. 3 granddaughters, 4 neices, and 1 nephew.
