You are very loved and very missed, everyday that passes. It still hurts and is just as raw as if it just happened.

Sweet memories

August 3, 2018

I think of you often with the most unusual little items I run across.  Example today I forward a bottle of hand tied fishing flies, these are the ones which Mr Walt gave me and told me to be sure you understood he made them for me as according to him I was a natural with fly rod and you should just pay attention to my wrist so you could do an easy cast.  Yes BillyD you have always been able to out fish anyone but it was just the fact that you taught me to tie a hook on correctly, then Mr Walt taught me to tie flies and I think the dozen of those I made for you was the most treasured item I ever gave you as I heard you several times refuse to allow guys to borrow or use one as you said they were for special trips.  I so loved our fly fishing trips together whether it was a week long trip or an hour break "just to wet a fly". I miss you my heart and soul, Always and Forever.

Fisherman's Prayer

April 6, 2015

I pray that I may live to fish until my dying day, and when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray .  .  .  When in the Lords's great landing net and peacefully asleep, that in HIS mercy I be judged  .  .  . Big Enough To Keep.
