Billy Jay Hinton passed away on Sunday, September 4th, 2011 at 3:42PM at UCSD Hospital Hillcrest, San Diego, CA.

Born in southern Alabama on September 27, 1957 to Eva Janelle and James Webster Hinton. Billy loved sports; he grew up playing short stop in baseball and was a wonderful waterpolo player. He had a passion for academics and was excellent in mathematics where he received his Associates Degree.

He was an avid designer, landscape gardener, builder and planner. He enjoyed cooking, volunteering with the church, and comupters. Later, Billy Jay received his real estate license and endulged in the finance, mortgage, and loan industry.

Billy Jay is survived by his mother and father, sister Jamie Jolly, his brother James Hinton Jr. and his sister Jeannie Carter; his son Daniel Hinton who currently serves in the United States Navy, stationed at Coronado Island, his grandchildren, Devan Tyler (8yrs) and Madison (5yrs).
