From an early age my ad was brought up by hi gran who eventually died to what appeared to my dad in later life to be diabetes. He came from a family of plumbers who had other own family business from their home on Longford road in Hulme in manchester,. My dad did not care much for his mum as he found he very uncaring except when she wanted money from him. But in spite of this he moved in with her when cancer overtook her in the end . My early memories are of being at grans and playing on her piano in the front room that was filed with numerous beautiful things. Dad always wanted to take me to Blackpool instead and more than often did. As I grew I had laughs with dad as he was my best friend it nerve mattered what happened good or bad he would always be there.
