Billy Norris Quick, Sr., 77, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
He was born December 25, 1940 to the late James Roland Quick and Bessie Dickerson Quick.  He was a member of Creedmoor First Baptist.  Billy started his Banking career with Union National Bank.  He was instrumental in starting Granville United Bank where he served as CEO and retired as CEO from RBC Centura.
Graveside services will be conducted at Noon Friday, December 21, 2018 in Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford by Rev. James Shelley and Rev. E.T. Vinson, his brother-in-law.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-four years, Patricia Seate Quick of the home; a daughter, Angela Denise Quick of Oxford, a son, Billy Norris Quick, Jr, (Cindy) of Bunn; two sisters, Mary Catherine Vinson of Greenville, Stella Harrell of Cary; a brother, Buddy Quick of Oxford; two granddaughters, Natalie Quick, Gabrielle Martin and a grandson, Ben Martin.  He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Judy Ann Quick.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the home.
