His Life

He was raised in Clarksburg, CA. He served in the US Army, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War as an airframe repairman. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and was an avid WWII model airplane builder and was a member of Silverwings, the Sacramento Chapter of IPMS.

Son of the late James Stanley King of AR and Helen Marie Morris of OK. Preceded in death by his half brother, Charles Sweet of OK, and brother Curtis G. King of Woodland, CA. He leaves behind his wife, Darleen, their five children: Jenni, Cristin, Evan, Charles, and James; two children from his previous marriage: Elizabeth and Michael; stepchildren: Stace Parsons, Brenda Parsons-Smith, and Keith Parsons; cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends.

He will be missed.

Internment will take place at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Midway Rd in Dixon, CA after a brief ceremony on October 29, 2013 at 2:00pm.
