Billy Thompson Goss, Sr., 74, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2018 at his home.

Billy was born July 1, 1943 in Granville County to the late Aubrey Kitchen Goss, Sr. and Vida Mae Keith Goss. He was of the Baptist Faith and farmed most of his life.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Living Word Baptist Church by Rev. Mike Vaughan. Burial will be in South Granville Memorial Gardens in Stem.

Surviving are his partner, Deborah Pickens of the home; two daughters, Michelle Goss Sharon (Chuck) of Grassy Creek, Melissa Goss Stovall (Ryan) of Stovall; a son, Billy Goss, Jr. (Kayren) of Cornwall; Deborah’s children, Cristy Youmans (Jon) of Butner, Ryan Pickens (Patricia) of Durham; six grandchildren and five shared grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Stephens and a brother, Hubert “Coconut” Goss.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 23, 2018 from 1:30 – 2:45 P.M. in the Sanctuary at Living Word Baptist Church and at other times at his home.
