Daddy.
I remember looking at you kneel by your chair to say a prayer everytime you step on the alter, before you take your sit.. you always did that.

At a time in ministry, you insisted you didn't want to be called a Reverend. You said it was a name of God, and you followed through. You had such depths of revelation.

Everything we know about God, our passion for the work of ministry and the lives of people you taught us. Your doors were constantly open to all. Strangers had a warm meal and a bed because of you. Your heart was huge.

I remember waking up at night and seeing you or mum praying over us. I remember your regular midnight prayers.. You always asked God to "Work a Work of Wonder" I know he heard because God is faithful.

For all the great work you did, social media has very little to say of you. That hurts me. You left the scene too early. But I know your memory lingers on in people's heart.

There were a lot of things I was unhappy about many years before you passed.. almost like you abandoned you life's work, but now I let them go and forgive you. I pray God keeps your in His Bossom eternally and that the work you did in ministry stands as a memorial for you.

I love and respect you Sir.
Farewell daddy.

A Tribute to My Dad, My Hero
Dad, I didn’t expect to say bye now. I thought I was going to see
you atleast once more before this day, for this I am sad at so many
things I couldn’t do for you or say as well as the fact that I was late
in arranging your visit.
♦◊♦
I remembered as a child how I used to love been around you, I
followed you everywhere, from office to church, I was called
Daddy’s secretary back then because I followed you.
Even in my mid forties, I still consider myself a “daddy’s girl”. You
were my ‘Popsi’ and I loved you to bits despite all issues. The bond
we share is unlike any other connections for we spoke about
everything and anything.

Dad, I love you for an infinite number of reasons. I feel so blessed
to have had you as my father, you taught me about God, you
showed us the way in a world full with false religions and worships.
You brought us up in the way of God and showed us that God is all
we need in a world of challenges and these helped me in my most
trying times.

Thank you for providing me and my siblings a family, the physical
and emotional security you provided. I remembered as a child our
numerous beach outings, our Apapa amusement park outing and
so many family events we enjoyed growing up with you and our
darling mum.

Thank you for the gifts of ‘fanta and biscuits’ you gave me
whenever I came 1 st in the class and your support through to uni.
thank you for going all the way to my Uni in Ogbomosho to obtain
my degree certificate when I requested for it for my document
application.
Thank you for listening to me whenever I called in my distress and
your encouragements.
I love you Popsi. Adieu Dad. May your soul rest in perfect peace.
